2026 Capital Projects - Upgrading water mains on FM 852 in Upshur County
2023/2024 TX CDBG-CD Grant - Sharon WSC was selected to receive funding from the TX CDBG Grant Program for the 2023/2024 cycle. This funding will be used to replace aging water mains and related infrastructure on Wood CR 4640 and CR 4660. Construction is expected to begin early in 2026
TDEM HMGP DR-4485 COVID-19 PANDEMIC Grant - Funding will be used to purchase diesel powered standby generators to provide electrical power to all water production and storage facilities in emergency situations. Construction began late in 2025 and all upgrades are expected to be completed just after the new year.
